International forum of overseas studies on Xi Jinping thought opens in Beijing

The International Forum of the Overseas Studies on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era (2025) opened in Beijing on Wednesday.

Hosted by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the two-day forum focuses on the theme "Changes unseen in a century and the governance of China." About 200 scholars and experts from 35 countries and regions are attending the event.

The forum serves as a key platform for studying Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, deepening global understanding of the Communist Party of China's governance philosophy, and promoting the dissemination of Chinese wisdom and traditional Chinese culture. 

Participants will exchange views on major global transformations and discuss China's approaches to development and governance in an era of profound changes.
